Booking with NFGS ensures that you will have a fantastic Fly Fishing adventure to remember. Experienced Owner/Operator and Head Guide Nicholas Gallegos, has over a decade of first hand fishing experience in Northern New Mexico. NFGS is CPR and first-aid certified in addition to being trained in backwoods safety, over the past four years. Assuring clients of first hand knowledge of an area, and their safety if an accident were to ever occur. Everything is up to date and double-checked regarding safety, gear, weather & any other field requirements. In order to provide you, The Client with a safe and rewarding outdoor experience !

Choice Of Guide Destination

New Mexico has a variety of rivers, streams and lakes to fish year round! Depending on the time of year, the season and weather will determine accessibility. NFGS has multiple scenic Fly- Fishing locations around Northern New Mexico to choose from! Some of the locations include The Rio Chama, Rio Los Brazos, Rio Los Pinos & Private Waters around New Mexico. NFGS is also a Santa Fe National Forest Permit holder for the following areas - The Pecos River, Jemez river, Rio Guadalupe, Rio Chama, Cow Creek, Elk Creek & many others within the SF national forest.

What we Provide

NFGS provides an immersive Fly Fishing experience! While traveling through scenic mountain canyons and hiking the beautiful outdoor country of Northern New Mexico! You won't have to worry about not being prepared to get wet! NFGS will provide everything you'll need to get started on the right foot. NFGS offers Rod n' Reel, Tippet and Flies All a part of a packaged guide deal. NFGS provides rental wading equipment for $25.00 per set of (Boots, Neoprene Socks & Waders) per person. We also provide cold refreshments and sealed snacks! Nick will also carry extra sun, bug & rain protection throughout the day if needed.

Half Day Wade Trip

! CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED / RESPONSIBLE FOR VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION ! All Half Day Wade Trips Require a packed full change of clothes, pair of sunglasses and ball cap! NFGS will always have fresh beverages and cold refreshments! Clients are asked to bring a packed sack lunch.
